Welcome Vicki Black, L.Ac., L.M.T.

Join us in welcoming Vicki Black, L.Ac., L.M.T., a Licensed Acupuncturist and Licensed Massage Therapist with more than 20 years of experience treating a wide variety of conditions. During her studies in psychology and Asian philosophy, she became interested in Chinese medicine. After injuring her back and trying many types of treatments, she found that acupuncture helped her heal. That’s when she decided to specialize in acupuncture. Vicki received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado.

In her practice, Vicki provides acupuncture treatments, including Cupping, Guasha, massage, nutrition, and herbal advice. She specializes in pain management, auto-immune disorders, sports, pre- and post-operative care, as well as mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, and PTSD.

In her work, Vicki enjoys learning about the whole person whom she is treating and developing a relationship so that she and the client are working together as a team. She appreciates being able to see the results, especially with harder-to-treat problems. She’s also passionate about educating people about the benefits of complementary medicine. Joining Lincoln Medical Acupuncture gives Vicki the opportunity to work with other acupuncturists, and she likes the ability to collaborate with the physicians and behavioral health therapists at Lincoln Family Medicine Center and Stepping Stones.

Vicki grew up in Schuyler, Nebraska, where her family owned a hog farm. She joined the Army National Guard which helped put her through college. She is the mother of two grown kids and a miniature Aussie. In her spare time she enjoys doing yoga and meditation, cooking, entertaining, and she is an avid reader.

We are excited that Vicki Black has joined Lincoln Medical Acupuncture. To schedule an appointment with Vicki, call Lincoln Medical Acupuncture at 402-327-6973.
